The application process for TCS Atlas Hiring for YoP 2023:

Step 1. Login to the TCS NextStep Portal here https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/#/

Step 2. Register and apply for the TCS Atlas Hiring YoP 2023

Scenario A. If you are a registered user, kindly log in and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’

Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose the category ‘IT’ and proceed to fill in your details. Submit your application form and click on ‘Apply For Drive’

Step 3. Select your mode of the test (In-Center) and choose your preferred test center & then click on Apply. Please Note, the test center once chosen Cannot be changed.

Step 4. To confirm your status, check ‘Track Your Application. The status should reflect as ‘Applied for Drive’

Important Note:

Please note that this is an In-Center test and registrations would be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

You must have all your original academic documents as applicable till date.

Communication-related to the test will be sent to you by our test partner, TCS iON.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR TCS ATLAS HIRING FOR YOP 2023:

Percentage: Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (All subjects in all semesters) of 60% or 6 CGPA in each of Class 10th, Class 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation, and Post Graduation examination.

Highest Qualification: Candidates should have completed the course in the stipulated course duration (i.e. No extended education).

Backlogs / Arrears / ATKT:  Only one backlog is permitted for the candidates from the 2023 year of passing, however, all pending backlogs should be completed within the stipulated course duration.

Gap / Break in Education: It is mandatory to declare gaps in education if any. The overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification. Relevant document proof, as applicable, will be checked for gaps in education

Course Types: Only Full-Time courses will be considered (Part Time Correspondence courses will not be considered). Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the other courses are full-time. 

Work Experience:  Candidates with prior work experience of up to 2 years are eligible to apply for the TCS Atlas Hiring Process.   

Age: Minimum age – 18 years and Maximum age - 28 years

Courses & Discipline:  Full-time Post Graduation courses with specializations in Mathematics / Statistics / Economics from Year of passing (YoP) 2023 are eligible for TCS Atlas Hiring (Part Time / Correspondence courses will not be considered).

Test provider: TCS iON is the test provider for TCS Atlas Hiring process.

Test Pattern: The duration of the Assessment is 90 minutes and is split under the below 4 sections: 

• Statistics

• Mathematics

• Economics

• Programming

You will play an integral role in Data Extraction, Transformation, Feature extraction, and Model Development for the basic to moderate complexity of predictive models.

You will be understanding the concept behind most of the available tools and techniques, applying them depending on the nature of the problems, and also understanding their weaknesses and key mitigants. 

You will be working and understating the various problems and their typical solutions in across a string of domains. 

You will learn and work on different types of models, understating and executing best practices in model management and execution.

You should possess the expertise in the communications and presentations requirement from Data Scientists including peer reviews and other publications.

Possessing the knowledge of data science packages such as python, R, etc. will be vital to your role. 

You will be working with the best in your industry, offering your expert knowledge and bringing confidence to the business unit’s strategic decision-making.
