In this role, you will:
Provide support for the company’s regulatory, Security and Exchange Commission, and other external financial reporting requirements
Support external financial reporting activities with a thorough understanding of reporting requirements, end to end reporting processes, and data needed to deliver accurate and complete financial reporting
Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
Experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Any bachelor's degree with knowledge on accounting, finance, analytics and reporting.
A person should have SAS application experience or knowledge is mandatory.
Job Expectations:
Solid end-user knowledge of core US Regulatory Quarterly and Monthly FR Y14 submissions, and the Basel and Capital Reporting.
Report Owner experience would be helpful, with the ability to work on preparing and reviewing data received from Business Controllers & G/L with specific emphasis on the FR Y14, FFIEC101, and the FR Y9-C.
Candidates should have solid analytical skills. It would be helpful if these candidates have some exposure to other related Regulatory disclosures – Call Report (FFIEC031) etc.
Candidates will be expected to leverage data quality analysis skills, and knowledge of tools like SQL, SAS, and Toad etc. would be helpful.
