In this role, you will oversee the operations of Meesho’s big data
platform and solve issues — big and small — for our users. You will
assist product analysts and business analysts in running their models at
the petabytes scale on the platform. You will help with performance
monitoring of the platform and build automation code to operate it
at scale.
What you will do
- Monitor, manage and maintain Big data-based applications
- Resolve support tickets related to application functionality, performance, and system availability
- Provide prompt service to the users of the platform and adhere to strict SLAs for response and restoration times
- Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management
- Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy, Create and maintain knowledge-base articles
- Detect and resolve issues in a proactive manner before they can affect the platform
- Install/manage backup and monitor applications
What you will need
- Graduate degree in Engineering
- 1-5 years of experience
- Strong Linux Fundamentals
- Database fundamentals and SQL queries
